ABOUT US

Formed in 2013 by anglers for anglers with an interest in fishing the River Lee Navigation, running downstream from Waltham Abbey in Essex  to Tottenham in North East London. Annual subscribed members can also fish associated club waters.

 

• We’re a friendly club and welcome coarse anglers of all abilities

• Our Club fishery has no Traditional Close Season and is open 365 days of the year

• We hold Club 'Members Only Matches' and 'Members Fish-In Days' where you can fish with fellow members

• We are an affiliated member of the Angling Trust and hold insurance through their official scheme

 

 

OUR CLUB FISHERY

RIVER LEE NAVIGATION  (Waltham Abbey to Tottenham Marshes)

6 miles of coarse fishing. The most commonly known species include Carp, Chub, Bream, Roach, Tench, Rudd, Perch, Pike, Dace, Gudgeon and Bleak. NO CLOSED SEASON ON THESE WATERS.

ASSOCIATED CLUB WATERS (included free with Annual Membership)

RIVER LEE NAVIGATION (Broxbourne to Hertford Town), Carthagena Weir Pool (Broxbourne), Dobbs Weir Pool (Hoddesdon), Feildes Weir (Hoddesdon), River Stort (Feildes Weir to Lower Lock). CLOSED SEASON APPLIES TO THESE WATERS.

RIVER LEE FLOOD RELIEF CHANNEL - WALTONS WALK (Highbridge Street to David Stoker Sluice, Waltham Abbey),

CLOSED SEASON APPLIES TO THIS WATER - ANNUAL SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS ONLY - NO DAY TICKETS ON THIS WATER.

WOODLANDS LAKE, FORTY HALL ESTATE, NORTH ENFIELD

An estate lake fishery shared with other members of the Enfield Angling Council.  Very well stocked with Carp, Roach, Crucian Carp, Tench and Pike.  NO CLOSED SEASON ON THIS LAKE - ANNUAL SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS ONLY - NO DAY TICKETS ON THIS WATER.

BOXERS LAKE, ENFIELD

A lake fishery shared with other members of the Enfield Angling Council.  Species include Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench and Perch.  NO CLOSED SEASON ON THIS LAKE.

JACKS LAKE, HADLEY WOODS, BARNET (TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED - UPDATE TO FOLLOW)

By agreement with Hadley Angling Preservation Society, members can fish this water for free on production of their club membership card and club photo ID card.  Species include Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Perch and Pike. 

NO CLOSED SEASON ON THIS LAKE.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIBED RIVER LEA ANGLERS CLUB MEMBERS WILL ALSO BE ENTITLED TO A 25% DISCOUNT ON DAY TICKETS FOR KINGS WEIR FISHERY

By agreement with Kings Weir Fishery management, members can book a Weir Pool Day Ticket with a 25% discount from standard rates. The fishery is famous for its specimen size Barbel and Chub but also holds large bream, roach, dace, perch and pike. CLOSED SEASON APPLIES TO THIS WATER
